Open for Business offers free marketing, accounting, legal services, and more to Allegheny County small businesses and nonprofits in low and moderate-income areas.
What is offered?
One-on-one access to consultants in business development planning, accounting, legal services, marketing, and credit counseling.
Access to digital and social media marketing advertising strategies, eCommerce training, and space design consultation.
An opportunity to participate in Paramount’s 12-month cohort program. This program provides business mentorship as well as peer support and networking opportunities.
Tailored services are provided to the needs of each participating business.
Who is eligible?
Existing small businesses and nonprofits in Allegheny County can apply for the program.
To be eligible, your small business must be located in Allegheny County in one of the following areas: Avalon, Bellevue, Blawnox, Braddock, Braddock Hills, Carnegie, City of Clairton, Coraopolis, City of Duquesne, East McKeesport, East Pittsburgh, Elizabeth, Glassport, Homestead, McKees Rocks, Millvale, Mt. Oliver, North Braddock, North Versailles, Pitcairn, Rankin, Sharpsburg, Stowe, Swissvale, Tarentum, Turtle Creek, Verona, Versailles, Wall, West Elizabeth, Whitaker, Wilkinsburg, or Wilmerding.
